Dirty Air isn't just outdoors. The air in your home has particulates in it, such as pollen, dust, pet dander, smoke and other odors. They’re so microscopic and lightweight that they can remain suspended in the air for hours. In fact, according to the EPA, the air inside your home may be up to 5 times more polluted than the air outside.
Oreck knows that you have to move the air to clean the air. That’s why we’ve designed a full line of air purifiers with your needs in mind.
Come in to your local Oreck store today and see our full line of air purifiers. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will show you all of the options the Oreck air purifier line has to offer.
Oreck offers its customers a full line of air purifiers that uses either Truman Cell® technology or True HEPA filters. Which option is right for your home? Compare and decide!
How it works: Captures 99.97% of dust, allergens, smoke, pet dander and pollen particles as small as .3 microns from the air that passes through its filter.
How it works: Oreck's patented Truman Cell® is an EP (Electronic Precipitator) filter that captures dust and allergens from the air that passes through its filter, pulling them out of the air like a magnet.

Company coming in an hour? Don't have time to bring in your vacuum right now? Below are some common problems and descriptions on how to fix them yourself!
Belt Replacement
Some belts are easy to replace and others are not. We can replace belts on almost any vacuum. We recommend belt replacements every 4 to 6 months for the most effective cleaning from your vacuum. It is a very inexpensive procedure but will ensure a longer life for your investment.
Loss of Suction
We recommend you bring your vacuum to us to unclog, but if your in-laws are 15 minutes away, here are some tips to do it yourself. First make sure that the brush roller is spinning. Turn it over keeping the unit far from your eyes and loose clothing to watch the roller. It should be rotating fast. If not, the belt or brush roll needs replacing. We do free estimates and can unclog most vacuums for a small charge. To check if your vacuum is clogged (Oreck systems), first press on the outer bag to flatten it, then turn on the unit. Did the bag inflate? If not, you have a clog. Most of the time, debris is stuck right behind the brush roll. It could be that sock that went missing. If your vacuum is making a horrible noise or smell, turn it off and bring it in.
Brush Roller Replacement
The roller is similar to tires and tread on your car. Bristles wear down and the brush roll will need to be replaced at some point. Brush rolls range in price from brand to brand. Bring in your vacuum and we can replace the brush roll for you.
