Susan G. Komen For the Cure
Oreck Clean Home Center currently participates in efforts to raise money for the fight in breast cancer.  Oreck will make a donation to Susan G. Komen with the purchase of our beautiful "Komen" edition vacuums.

Oreck Events

SELF-SERVICE BASICS
  • Belts - Without a strong belt, your machine is helpless.  Belts are naturally stretchy.  Once they are worn, burned or stretched out over time, your machine's performance will naturally deteriorate.  Generally after 6 months using the same belt, your vacuum will not work as intended.  A tight belt is an inexpensive way to get more out of your investment.
  • Brush Rollers - Similar to the way toothbrush bristles will gradually soften or wear out, a brush roller can lose its cleaning ability over time.  Think of a brush roller combing allergens, dirt and hair out of your carpet.  As the bristles soften, it doesn't do as well of a job.  Depending on floor surfaces and vacuuming demands, most brands will require a new brush roller every 2-5 years.
  • No Suction - Vacuuming is all about suction.  You could have a clog anywhere along the air path.  In an Oreck, this is a very simple straight path.  In many vacuums, this could be in numerous tunnels, hoses or other assemblies.
